From the series: Psychography.
Woman in shift, caught between form and energy. Dissolving into her thoughts, slipping through perception. A glitch, a pulse, and lights emanate from her.
This series is a case study—an exploration of a subject caught in transitioning states of being. Through unknown forces, she dissolves, fractures, and shifts, revealing the potency of her thoughts and pulling us into her inner world.
As the observer, I have uncovered an in- between space, a breach in perception where mind and matter destabilise.
These images are transmissions from that threshold, evidence of an experiment unfolding – an unsettling slip through the movement of a subject’s mind. They are fragmented notes from a scientist documenting unseen territories of the human psyche, a glimpse into the mysterious and the ineffable.

Jen Raoult is a French-born, Auckland-based photographer whose work spans commercial, documentary, unit stills, and fine art. In recent years, her practice has explored the psyche, perception, and the mystical, pushing the boundaries of photography to reveal what lies beyond the visible.
