MILANA RADOJCIC

OBSCURA 1

In my In(Visible) series, I play with perception by photographing glass adult toys in a way that renders them unrecognisable at first glance. Stripped of their intended function, they become abstract, almost sculptural forms, inviting curiosity before recognition sets in. This visual ambiguity mirrors society’s reluctance to engage in open conversations about sexuality and pleasure, particularly for women. Through a minimalist, one-light setup with coloured gels, I transform these objects into elegant compositions that demand a second look.

OBSCURA 2

The In(Visible) series challenges the boundaries of visibility and taboo. By photographing glass adult toys as abstract objects, I aim to highlight how society often obscures discussions around sexuality and pleasure, especially for women. At first, these forms appear as delicate, polished sculptures – but as recognition dawns, so does the tension between beauty and discomfort. Using a single-light setup and coloured gels, I created beautiful gradients that elevate these often-hidden subjects into an artful, striking presence.
