The past few years have brought significant changes to the world, with the global pandemic, increasing concerns about climate change, and new conflicts to name a few. But for me, life took a turn in a whole different direction - I became a mum for the first time. My world shifted its focus to all things baby, and everything else took a back seat. Through my personal and colourful style, I aim to celebrate the integration of my new identity as a mother with my previous self. As my baby gets older, I can finally make space for myself and express my experiences through my lens.
ABOUT MILANA
Milana is a still-life photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand with several years of experience in the industry. Her passion for photography began in her early days as a band and music photographer, where she honed her skills in capturing movement and energy. Even now, her work shows the influence of the dramatic and vibrant stage lighting from the many live performances she has documented over the years.
Over time, she transitioned to being an assistant and finally found her true passion in still-life photography. Through this journey, Milana has developed a great eye for detail, a solid grasp of light, and a distinctive style that distinguishes her work from others. Her art demonstrates her talent for giving inanimate objects life, making them pop in each frame.
